SK Planet‘s T store has reached 10 million users in 2 years and 1 month after service opening.

T store reached 190,000 items of registered content and 480 million downloads since launching its services on September 9th, 2009, and has grown into ? true to the name ? Korea’s no.1 ‘General Content Market’, recording an average of 2.5 million visitors a day.

On this occasion, and in accordance to T store’s policy of ‘openness’ and ‘sharing,’ SK Planet plans to widely expand KT and U+ Smartphone models that feature T store from the current 12 to 25 models (6 KT models, 7 LG U+ models) by the end of October.

SK Planet announced that after adding 13 models, about 80% of KT and LG U+ Android based Smartphone users will be able to use T store.
Therefore, Smartphones featuring T store will be increased to approximately 200 models, a number which includes most of the Android based Smartphones in Korea.

Joo Sik Lee head of SK Planet’s Service Platform BU, said, "T store grew fast, obtaining 10 million users in the last 2 years. Also, entering the Chinese and Japanese market, it is about to become a global service platform. We will do our best so that T store, based on joint growth and companionship, can provide diverse content types to users and a wider market for developers".
