- Open Innovation Center invites developers to create services using its open APIs Anyone can apply with no mandatory service category, developer requirements, or application deadline
- Provides development space, devices, and up to KRW 35 million in incentives based on the number of downloads

Seoul, Korea, October 24, 2011 ― SK Planet today announced its recruitment of developers to join ‘SK Planet Open API Support
Group’ that uses the company’s open API (Application Program Interface) to develop compelling services.

‘SK Planet Open API Support Group’ is a community of developers who takes advantage of SK Planet’s open APIs to develop
exciting services. The project is aimed at providing developers with access to SK Planet’s open APIs and tools to speed innovation
and make it easier for developers to create and release creative and successful services on the market.

Anyone interested in developing services with SK Planet’s open API is eligible to apply, irrespective of service category. Potential
applicants can visit the official website of SK Planet’s Open Innovation Center (http://oic.tstore.co.kr) to submit their applications,
and members will be selected based on their submitted service proposals.

Successful applicants who become members of ‘SK Planet Open API Support Group’ will receive a wide array of support including
development space for five months and handset rentals. Developers who complete development within three months and publish
the application on T Store will receive KRW 2 million in publishing incentives and may receive up to KRW 35 million as incentives
for success, measured by the number of downloads.

After announcing its plans to open and share core technologies including APIs for LBS (T Map/Location) and Messaging (SMS/MMS)
in early December last year, SK Planet made APIs accessible to all via T API Center’s official website (apicenter.tstore.co.kr).
The Company’s open API policy is aimed at extending its core services that used to be available exclusively to its registered developers,
to outside developers and thus, facilitate service development. In April this year, the company made its second release of new APIs
to allow developers to integrate T Store and Melon functionalities into their applications.

SK Planet has been sharing its open technologies with various outside partners including customers, developers and related
companies through Open Innovation Center that runs ▲ One-Person Creative Enterprise Program to support individual developers,
▲ T Academy that provides top-notch training to nurture mobile experts, and ▲ MD Test Center to enable developers to test and
ensure performance and quality of their applications.

“Open Innovation Center has the goal of developing into a main hub of Korea’s mobile ecosystem by collaborating with outside
partners,” said Lee Joo-sik, SK Planet’s Head of Service Platform Business Unit. “We hope that members of Support Group
program will create success stories with SK Planet’s open APIs and continue to make advancements with us.”
