- Implements structural reshuffle aimed at strengthening competitiveness in platform business, overseas business
  expansion and new business areas

Seoul, Korea, January 10, 2012 — SK Planet announced the implementation of a structural and organizational reshuffle to
become a fully self-contained company to secure competitiveness in the platform business, facilitate global expansion and enter
into new business areas/diversify its business portfolio.
SK Planet will reorganize its Service Platform Business Unit into Open Social Business Unit, App Business Unit, Commerce
Business Unit and New Media Business Unit to enhance its level of expertise and self completeness in each and every business
area.
In particular, the company will join forces with its subsidiary SK Communications in forming Open Social Business Unit so as to
generate synergies by combining the two companies’ strengths in various SNS-related businesses on both online and mobile
platforms.
Moreover, the company will move its R&D function to Platform R&D Office to integrate the company’s R&D activities and promote
internalization of technological capabilities, while strengthening its role of establishing an open platform and securing overseas
technologies.
