SK Planet Delivers Online and Offline Services in Singapore

2013.06.19
-  Social network-based POI service Pickat launched in Singapore
-  OK Cashbag points can be earned and redeemed for discount benefits at Singapore’s top ten attractions
-  Optimal localization of mobile services and partnership with local players to propel future expansion in Southeast
   Asian region

Seoul, Korea, June 19, 2013—SK Planet announced that it is now offering various online and offline services in Singapore,
a major Southeast Asian hub.

SK Planet has recently launched in Singapore Pickat, a social network-based point of interest service.

Pickat is a platform for sharing information about hot places to eat, travel and have fun. Trendsetters post recommendations
and reviews of attractive spots, and Pickat subscribers ‘pick’ the postings they like and can add their own experience about
the place. During the first four months since its launch, Pickat has grown its membership to more than 1 million users.

The latest version released in Singapore is designed to appeal to the local users, who are fond of dining, traveling and
enjoying life. The location-based social networking aspect was strengthened based on a more sophisticated analysis of
the local language and partnership with diverse players.

The Singaporean version of Pickat delivers many coupons and information curated by specific themes, as well as
promotional offerings and events linked to Korean entertainment and celebs. Such compelling services are expected to propel
Pickat to early success in Singapore, which will further help SK Planet to expand Pickat’s coverage of the entire Southeast
Asian region.

Another SK Planet service that has been expanded to cover Singapore is OK Cashbag, Korea’s largest integrated loyalty
points program. Points can now be earned and redeemed for discounts in Singapore.

SK Planet agreed on a partnership deal with Singapore Tourism Board last year and has set up OK Cashbag Spots in top
ten tourist attractions in the country, such as Singapore Flyer, Gardens by the Bay, Jurong Bird Park and Singapore Zoo.
Visiting Korean tourists can access OK Cashbag services in these locations.

OK Cashbag members can now present their membership card or a credit card with accompanying OK Cashbag benefits
to receive 10~15% discount for admission fees. There is also an online members-only website where Cashbag members
can buy tickets to Sentosa Island and Resort World Sentosa, as well as City Passes in advance and earn up to 15% in
rewards points.

“SK Planet is aggressively pursuing expansion into the global market, building on the success we’ve had with mobile
platforms in Korea,” said SK Planet’s COO Lee Joo-sik. “Likewise, success in the Southeast Asian hub of Singapore will
serve as a springboard for broadening service coverage in the region.”
