Seoul, Korea, December 12, 2013—SK Planet will be making donations towards improving the traffic safety culture.
SK Planet today announced the launch of T Map Star Voice Service featuring the widely loved comedian Kim Jun Ho.
Revenues from the first three months will go to strengthening the culture of traffic safety. Kim is a very popular
comedian in Korea who now stars in shows Gag Concert and Two Days and One Night.
The donation is intended as a special way of celebrating the launch of the Star Voice Service featuring characters
from the more popular Gag Concert sketches like Hwanghae. T Map, the preferred GPS navigation in Korea with
over 17 million users will be charging 2,000 won per download of the Kim Jun Ho version. Proceeds from the
first three months will be used in CSR activities designed to promote traffic safety culture.
T Map Star Voice Service may be summed up as a route guidance service delivered in the voice of top celebs.
The first version launched last August was marked by catchy phrases and memorable lines from Korea’s most
loved stars. A user favorite is the Hwanghae version, which features characters from the famous Gag Concert
segment of the same name.
The Kim Jun Ho version comes with over 1400 pre-recorded lines delivered in the voice of popular characters
Kim played in the Gag Concert sketches Boom Entertainment and Gamsuseong. The usual navigation
instructions and directions such as ‘Please buckle up before driving’, ‘Starting route guidance’ ‘Please refrain
from using the mobile phone while driving’ are rendered in witty comedic versions, allowing all those in the vehicle
a more fun and pleasant drive.
The Kim Jun Ho version of Star Voice Service is available on T Store. To hear instructions from Kim Jun Ho,
users must upgrade to the latest T Map 4.3, which is the only version supporting it. Installation is automatic
after the download is complete. Users can choose between the voice of Kim’s character in Boom
Entertainment or Gamsuseong.
Kim Hu-jong, Head of Location Based Services at SK Planet said he was “happy that T Map can contribute

Star Voice Service starring actors and animation characters to deliver both route guidance and a fun driving
experience.“
