- Kicking off with Kookmin Bank and to expand partnership with most major banks by early 2014 including

Seoul, Korea, January 10, 2014—SK Planet announced an expansion of convenient payment services offered
by its paypin (www.paypin.co.kr).

Paypin allows user to register information about various means of payment such as credit cards and smartphones
on its namesake app so that paying for something while shopping online or on the mobile is as simple
as keying in the pre-set pass code.

SK Planet announced on the 12th that its online shopping arm 11st (www.11st.co.kr) now allows ‘realtime
transfer’ through paypin. On the

Paypin’s realtime transfer feature lets users to store information about their checking account on the paypin
app as one of multiple payment options. Once the information resides on the app, the user only needs to
input the paypin pass code, transaction authorization code and account pass code to complete the transaction.
In this way it eliminates the long hassle of selecting the bank and keying in the account number, the resident
registration number and the security card number among others, with the added benefit of keeping such valuable
information from being exposed and becoming a security concern.

Paypin ensures security by its sophisticated encoding of transaction information and authorization code
to prevent them from theft and fraudulent usage. The transaction authorization codes issued by card companies
or banks are sent to the paypin app in an encoded form, and the user may access the authorization codes
only by keying in the app’s pass code of 6 to 10 digits.

SK Planet has filed four PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) applications for ways of preventing fraudulent
transactions through the paypin system, and U.S. patents are now pending after successful preliminary
examination.

Paypin’s realtime transfer service currently supports Kookmin Bank account transactions, with Woori Bank
and Busan Bank to follow next month. The plan is to onboard most of the major banks in Korea to enable
paypin transactions by the first half of this year.

“Paypin, as the leader of the easy payment market, has reduced the inconvenience mobile commerce customers
experience with complex mobile payment methods while providing a more secure transaction platform,”
said Jeon Joong-hee, SK Planet’s Head of Payment Business Division. “Our aim is to continue building more
partnerships to grow beyond the mobile and online commerce domain into the offline payment market.”

Paypin is aggressively pushing to have more card companies, banks and merchants to offer the option of
using paypin. Quick, easy and optimized to the mobile, paypin is the largest simple payment service in Korea
accepted by over 60,000 merchants in the online and mobile space.

The paypin app may be downloaded by all mobile devices from T Store, Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
