Seoul, Korea, January 28, 2014—SK Planet (CEO: Jinwoo Seo, www.skplanet.com) today announced that
it has joined forces with Seoul Business Agency (SBA, CEO: Lee Jeon-young, www.sba.seoul.kr) to provide
private-public joint support for small-and medium-sized game developers.

The two organizations signed a memorandum of understanding titled ‘2014 Mobile Game Production Support’
on January 23, aimed at providing support for smaller game makers and their entry into global markets.
A briefing session on the private-public joint project was held today at Seoul Animation Center located
in Yejang-dong, Jung-gu.

During the briefing session, the two partners announced that application for the support program opens
February 24 and closes on March 4 and select six game titles will enjoy access to KRW 1 billion
development funding. Moreover, SK Planet will be in charge of publishing, localization and marketing
activities in both Korea and overseas markets, thereby offering comprehensive and effective support
that ranges from uncovering business ideas to helping smaller businesses to take root in different markets.

Moon Jong-hyun, Head of Industrial Policy Division of Seoul Business Agency said, “Under the partnership,
we will work closely together to provide the much needed support to small game studios that have to compete
against the big businesses and global blockbusters. We plan to establish diverse support systems aimed
at boosting the competitiveness of smaller players that need development funding and marketing support.
Our aim is to spark a renaissance for the mobile game industry.”

Chris Lee, Head of Interactive Entertainment (IE) of SK Planet explained, “SK Planet has been taking a
supportive role in fostering the mobile game ecosystem. Through the partnership, we will demonstrate our
capability as a publisher and support small-and medium-sized game developers to help them flourish in
both domestic and global markets. We expect their outstanding games to breathe fresh life into the mobile
game market which is increasingly dominated by giant players.”
