Seoul, Korea, July 23, 2014—SK Planet announced today that the company’s IT education arm
T Academy produced over 70,000 cumulative graduates.

T Academy was established in 2010 by SK Planet’s Open Innovation Center to expand the mobile
ecosystem under the policy of openness and collaboration. Its program offerings not only include
development-focused courses but also include design and planning courses designed to teach
the skills that are needed to commercialize applications.

For the past four years, SK Planet has offered a diverse range of programs free of charge through
T Academy. For example, its expert courses are aimed at turning participants into mobile developers,
planners and designers. Recently, it added a new component to its program. The T Academy
Experts 2.0 is comprised of commercialization project teams and is designed to support participants
to acquire the skills and knowledge needed to succeed as a venture enterprise in the mobile industry.

T Academy has been at the forefront of nurturing mobile experts and supporting startup success.
As of July 23, T Academy has trained a combined total of 70,758 graduates and completed
commercialization of 137 applications. Among expert course graduates, 79.8% found jobs or
started their own business.

Moreover, T Academy, in conjunction with the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Songnam
City Government, has been offering Heemang App Course, a 6-month mobile-oriented course
aimed at integrating underprivileged population into sustainable employment. With high
graduate employment rates of over 86.1%, it is committed to building a mobile ecosystem
that promotes shared growth.

In recognition of its outstanding training programs, T Academy has been designated as
‘Software Expert Training Institute’ by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and
National IT Industry Promotion Agency on July 8th.

Apart from the training courses offered through T Academy, SK Planet will continue to offer
additional programs such as TryAngle Talk Concert, TryAngle Clinic and Planet UXI and have
company experts take part in them to uncover and develop mobile experts.

Meanwhile, the 7th round of T Academy Expert 2.0 (courses to open in mid-September) is
currently receiving application. The Academy Experts 2.0 consists of Business Development,
Design, Android Programming and Mobile Server Experts courses. In addition, those interested
