Seoul, Korea, November 7, 2014—SK Planet announced that SK Safe Taxi Service has expanded its coverage
to include all the taxis operated by individual drivers in the Seoul Metropolitan City.

SK Safe Taxi Service is a new name for Alimi-C Safe Return Home Service which is a smartphone-based mobile
service aimed at enhancing everyday convenience of passengers. It allows passengers to tap their smartphone
against the NFC tag to share their journey information with others via text message.

Thanks to the recent expansion of its services to 49,400 privately-owned taxis affiliated with the Seoul Private
Taxi Association, SK Safe Taxi Service is now available at 56,000 taxis including the 6,600 Navicall company-owned
taxis. This means that the service is now offered at 77 percent of all cabs running in the Seoul Metropolitan city.

As the implementation of the service has been completed on the 7th this month, passengers can now simply tap
their NFC-enabled Android smartphone against NFC tag to send their journey information such as license plate number,
automobile model, current time, current location, estimated arrival time, and so forth to their guardian via SMS or
KakaoTalk message.

“The expansion of SK Safe Taxi Service to taxis operated by individual drivers in Seoul City is a good example of
‘creative economy’ which emphasizes enhancing the convenience and quality of everyday lives by utilizing ICT. Along with
‘file a cab complaint’ and interpretation service, SK Safe Taxi Service will increase the overall convenience of Taxi
passengers,” said Lee Hae-yeol, Head of LBS Business Division of SK Planet. “Going forward, we plan to expand the
service to other regions so that citizens can take a late night cab with a sense of security and also to boost the growth
of the taxi industry.”
