Seoul, Korea, September 27, 2011 SK Planet announced today that it will launch T Cloud on September 29.
T Cloud is a service that enables users to manage contents like photos, music, video and document files, and enjoy contents
on many different types of devices.

With the release of many novel services and digital devices including smartphone, laptop, tablet computer and smart TV,
more attention is being drawn to cloud services that allow sharing and utilization of contents stored in diverse devices.
T Cloud is an improved version of T Bag Plus, a service launched in May 2011 to provide address book and
text message storage features. From September 29, the company will offer automatic upgrade for devices that support T Bag Plus,
while providing PC version of the service via both the website (www.tcloud.co.kr) and PC client. Furthermore,
T Cloud will be integrated as a basic feature in ‘Galaxy S2 LTE,’ the first handset to support LTE, the fourth generation mobile technology.
LTE phones will allow users to experience five times faster transmission speed than 3G phones when using T Cloud service.

Along with the existing features of T Bag Plus, T Cloud offers contents management, N-screen, SNS link and
inter-user data sharing and transmission.

Integrated Content Management and N Screen Play Features
T Cloud enables users to enjoy real-time streaming of large-volume multimedia contents on diverse devices,
including smartphones and PCs, without downloading them. Moreover its N Screen Play feature allows users
to start viewing a content stored in T cloud on their PCs and then continue watching it on their mobile phones.

In particular, from November 2011, the company will offer smart cloud service that removes the need for large volume cloud storage
by storing only meta-information of heavy contents like photo, music, movie and documents.

In other words, users no longer have to upload actual file data of large-volume contents and will benefit from reduced burden of cost
and time associated with uploading of files. This will also result in enabling users to do more with the limited amount of
cloud storage capacity given to them.

For instance, users no longer have to delete stored data every time they run out of cloud storage capacity. When users choose
to download certain content from the cloud, they are actually accessing the data stored in the device through the cloud. Of course,
users can also opt to actually store contents in the cloud.

 Data Sharing and Transmission Feature

T Cloud allows users to share and transmit data and contents stored in the cloud storage with other users using their address books
in mobile phones even if they do not know the recipients’ email addresses or service IDs. Users, of course,
can also choose to send data by entering an email address manually.

In addition, T Cloud has a real-time alarm feature like Kakao Talk, MyPeople and NateOn Talk that supports automatic notification
so that users can share data and contents stored in the cloud storage with their friends stored in the mobile phone address books
anytime, anywhere.

As users can easily and conveniently share large-volume contents such as photos and documents with their friends through T Cloud,
SK Planet said that a new consumption pattern of purchasing contents that is specific to mobile environment is likely to be created.
Furthermore, users will be able to share data and contents with their NateOn friends from November 2011.

T Cloud-SNS Interworking Feature

In addition, T Cloud is linked to Cyworld to enable users to upload the contents stored in the cloud storage
to their Cyworld homepages in real time.

While looking at the photos via T Cloud, users can send photos they liked to their Cyworld homepages and
conveniently share them with their Cyworld friends. The company is currently reviewing plans to increase the scalability of T Cloud
by linking the service to many other SNS platforms including Facebook and Twitter from November 2011.

“Starbucks Gifticon” Events to Celebrate the Launch of T Cloud

In order to celebrate the launch of T Cloud service, SK Planet plans to hold promotional events from September 29 to
November 30 to give out Starbucks Discoveries Seattle coffee Gifticons to all new members (Events will be closed in case
all 100,000 Gifticons are distributed out).

“We are witnessing a growing interest in cloud services in the Smart IT era. Telecommunications companies and
many portal site operators are competing in the market with their cloud services, but it seems that the competition is
rather more focused on just comparing the storage volume. The key success factor in cloud service will be how convenient it is to users
and not how much it can store,” said Lee Han-sang, SK Planet’s Head of M-Service Business Division. "T Cloud is expected to
position itself as a representative user-friendly cloud service in the future.”
