Seoul, Korea, January 16, 2012 — SK Planet today announced that its application store named T Store surpassed KRW 100
billion of transaction volume in just two years and four months after its launch on September 9, 2009.

The application store established itself as Korea’s leading content marketplace with 240,000 registered contents and 600
million cumulative downloads as of January 2012.

T Store has approximately 11.9 million registered users, of which 860,000 are KT and LG U+ subscribers. Since its foundation
in October 2011, SK Planet has expanded T Store availability to 33 different smartphone models provided by KT and LG U+,
which falls in line with its openness policy. Currently, the number of smartphone models with T Store application stands at 215
and SK Planet plans to further increase the number to include nearly every Android smart device released in Korea in the future.

Such increased availability of T Store has been pushing up monthly transaction values. Monthly transaction volume, which started
at a mere KRW 3.58 million, grew to exceed KRW 3 billion in just 15 months and to KRW 10.6 billion as of January 2012.

Based on the values of joint growth and innovation, T Store is committed to building a mobile ecosystem that satisfies both developers
and users. Based on its belief that the facilitation of mobile content market is the key to realizing this goal, SK Planet is building an
environment where developers can easily create and publish their contents, and at the same time, where customers can easily
and securely purchase quality contents.

Ever since it opened its services, T Store has been offering content verification and registration for free, while establishing a speedy
and transparent settlement system under which content sales revenue is paid out to developers within the end of the next calendar
month from the date of purchase.

Upgrades to the system have been implemented to improve developer’s convenience and profitability. At the end of last year,
content registration and verification process have been shortened to two to three days from the previous seven days, and developers
are provided with access to T Ad software development kit (SDK) that enable them to place ads in the development stage.

T Store also puts great emphasis on delivering convenient customer experience as evidenced by 12 upgrades it conducted in the
year 2011 alone. It enhanced User Interface for features such as AutoComplete and Video on Demand, while widening the selection
of its content offerings by introducing two new categories, 'Music' and 'Shopping/Coupon', each allowing mp3 and ring tone downloads,
and social shopping and discount coupon purchases, respectively.

Moreover, T Store offers diverse payment and discount options (charge purchases to phone bill, use credit card, T Store Cash,
OK Cashbag, etc.) and plans to introduce a content offering system for an enhanced recommendation feature based on
purchasing patterns of each user.

T Store’s Web-to-Phone function enables users to install applications directly from the web (www.tstore.co.kr) to their smart
devices. Its Smart Push method provides users with the convenience of over-the-air installs by allowing them to easily push
applications on their desktop browser to their smart device, without a USB cable.

T Store has leveraged its proven system and operational know-how to take its global platform service to users in Japan,
China and Taiwan. Depending on market characteristic and trend of each country, market entry took diverse forms including
direct entry, partnerships with local device makers and mobile carriers, as well as solution exports. In November 2011, T Stored
directly entered the Japanese market with qiip and has plans to add services to more countries.

“Based on the values of joint growth, innovation and sincere communication, T Store has been making diverse efforts and taking
on many roles to build a healthy mobile content ecosystem at home and abroad,” said Park Jung-min, SK Planet’s Head of T Store
Business Division. “Going forward, we will continue to bring our service to more global customers, together with Korean
developers who showed support and trust in T Store, to grow T Store into a global content distribution hub.”

Meanwhile, T Store holds a nationwide giveaway event from January 12 to February 10, in celebration of the coming Lunar
New Year. Anyone who participates in a game of roulette on T Store application or website (www.tstore.co.kr) will receive 15 popular
paid applications for free and get a chance to win gifts including SK gift certificate valued at KRW 5 million, Galaxy Note, 50,000
loyalty points at 11 St and Starbucks Gifticon.
