Seoul, Korea, February 8, 2012—SK Planet today unveiled web-based e-book creation tools that help writers to easily
create and publish e-books and have them distributed via T Store.

In the current book publishing market where 95 percent of authors fail to publish their writing in print book, writers will
enjoy a better chance of sharing their creations with readers in the form of e-books thanks to these tools.

The company launched Trade All Books (www.tradeallbooks.co.kr), a dedicated website that allows writers to create
e-books, sign up for distribution, and check their revenue share via android-based smart devices.

Any writer interested in self-publishing an e-book can create an account in Trade All Books, upload their manuscript and
author information on the web, and sign a Terms of Use Agreement with SK Planet.

SK Planet’s e-book creation tools are web-based and the entire catalog is kept online, allowing users to create, edit and
update e-books anywhere and anytime. Moreover, writers can receive proofreading and copyediting services by six
publishing houses including Oak Tree and Nexus Press.

Writers who enter into e-book distribution agreement with SK Planet will not only possess copyright but also publishing
right for their work, while having their books sold on Korea’s largest content marketplace T Store in the ‘Author Publishing’ section.

By removing intermediaries or “middleman” between e-book writer and content distributor, SK Planet plans to offer up
to 70 percent royalty rate for books distributed on T Store.

With 12 million registered users and over KRW 100 billion of cumulative transaction volume, T Store is currently providing
over 80,000 titles published in its e-book category.

“The release of e-book creation tools is a win-win for both parties as more writers can publish their books in digital format
and T Store widens its selection of offerings with differentiated contents,” said Lee Joo-sik, SK Planet’s Head of Open Social
Business Unit. “Going forward, based on its policy of openness and sharing, SK Planet will continue to take new approaches
to facilitate the growth of mobile content market.”
