Seoul, Korea, March 29, 2012 — SK Planet announced that today marks the second anniversary of T Academy, an IT education
institute founded to nurture mobile experts and a healthy mobile ecosystem. In merely two years after launch, T Academy established
itself as a distinguished education institute that leads Korea’s mobile ecosystem.

Established at a time when mobile-oriented education was scare, SK Planet’s T Academy has to date, trained mobile developers,
provided support for one-person enterprises, helped small-and medium-sized IT developers upgrade their competencies, among
others.

For the past two years, T Academy produced over 15,478 graduates who come from diverse backgrounds – i.e. college students,
housewives, people in between jobs, self-employed wannabes, mobile industry workers, etc. - with employment rate for graduates
of intensive courses standing at 68.9%. At present, the Academy’s course offerings total 130 which are delivered by the industry’s
top 133 experts.

T Academy takes on expanded role

T Academy has been taking on a role that goes beyond that of a mere IT training institute by offering the underprivileged access to
education, as well as supporting government-led programs. Its efforts include Heemang App Course, jointly held with the Seoul
Metropolitan Government, along with programs designed to nurture professional IT lecturers.

Heemang App Course which recently received its third round of enrollees was launched to provide vocational training to the
marginalized, while helping its course graduates to find jobs or start their own business. With high employment for graduates,
T Academy has been recognized for its effectiveness in integrating low-income and underprivileged population into sustainable
employment. All seven graduates of the first Heemang App Course Program successfully found jobs and five among eight
graduates (three continued studying at higher education institution) are now working at four different IT firms including Actus.

In addition, T Academy concluded Memorandum of Understanding Agreements with local institutions, as part of its efforts to
increase the reach of its training programs to non-Seoul regions and foster healthy mobile ecosystem across the nation.
The Academy has been providing its effective curriculum and course materials to provincial universities, while running new
programs designed to nurture future T Academy lecturers who will later deliver training courses to students in non-Seoul regions.

■ T Academy’s course materials impress educational institutions at home and abroad

Since October 2011, T Academy has been providing its course materials to relevant departments of major universities free of
charge to help their courses and programs keep up with the fast-changing mobile IT environment.

The list of universities that requested T Academy’s course materials includes not only undergraduate programs in Korea, but
also overseas educational institutions. Kyung Hee University was the first to integrate the material into its teaching last year,
followed by Silla University, Kyungpook National University, Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, University of CaliforniaIrvine
that plans use the material starting from this spring semester.

SK Planet’s T Academy has extensive plans for the year 2012. Its upgraded programs for 2012 will include project-linked
intensive courses and global application development programs. At the same time, the Academy will expand programs aimed
at closing regional gaps in IT education and giving education opportunities to the underprivileged by increasing the availability
of online video lectures and Heemang App Course as well as forging stronger partnerships with local institutions.

“T Academy will continue to use its outstanding educational infrastructure to nurture mobile experts and lead Korea’s
mobile ecosystem,” said Kim Young-chul SK Planet’s Head of Open Collaboration Promote Center. “Based on our open
ecosystem, we will work closely with individual as well as small-and medium-sized developers to create success stories
in global markets.”

Meanwhile, T Academy’s two year celebration will be held at Seoul National University Research Park in which its course
graduates and startups will take time to look back on achievements made to date and share development expertise and know-how.

First session (theme: Open Lecture) will feature a special talk titled “Uncovering the DNA of successful start-ups,” delivered by
Kim Dae-yoon, venture capitalist (VC) of SB Ventures, followed by the second session (theme: Honest Talk) which will cover
subjects on one-person businesses, and the event will close with networking session (theme: Mingle) that will allow former
and current T Academy students, incumbent developers and lecturers to network with one another. The event will give participants
opportunities to form networks and gain insights into becoming a core part of the mobile ecosystem.
