SK Planet’s hoppin Introduces a Free Screening Room Featuring Animated Content for Preschoolers

Seoul, Korea, April 5, 2012 — SK Planet’s N Screen Service hoppin (www.hoppin.co.kr) today announced a new addition to its
service, ‘Free Hobie Screening Room’ that features ‘My Friend Hobie’ animated series produced by i-challenge (www.i-challenge.co.kr),
a brand of Benesse Korea that specializes in early childhood education.

Thanks to the new addition, hoppin users can now watch Hobie animated series free of charge on smartphone, tablet PC and PC
– whichever device they happen to have handy.  

Starting with the release of My Friend Hobie series that consists of 50 episodes on April, hoppin plans to expand its offerings to a
total of 150 episodes by May.

Benesse Korea’s i-challenge enjoys popularity among children and endorsement from parents with its early childhood education
program that features a friendly tiger character ‘Hobie,’ aimed at enhancing learning ability and the ability to self-initiate among
preschoolers aged between one and six.

Moreover, to celebrate the opening of Free Hobie Screening Room, SK Planet will hold a giveaway event, giving content users a
chance to win free gifts including Hobie plush toy, Hobie table, Hobie storage cabinet, SK gift certificate, Outback Steak House
gift card, Dunkin Donuts Gifticon and more.   

“The launch of Free Hobie Screening Room will allow users to enjoy quality educational content across multiple smart devices
and computers,” said Lee Hae-yeol, SK Planet’s Head of hoppin Business Division. “We will continue to identify value added
content, service features and ideas that bring more value to customers and improve customer convenience.”

SK Planet’s hoppin is a multi-screen viewing service that enables users to enjoy movie, TV program and other multimedia content
seamlessly across multiple devices such as PC, smart phone, and tablet PC, using their own device of choice, anytime, anywhere.

The service which gives users the ability to seamlessly switch between devices to watch a single piece of content was launched on
January 2011, attracting 1.9 million registered users with 13,000 video content offerings as of April 2012.

Google Play for immediate download of hoppin application.

SK Planet plans to make hoppin available on phones serviced not only by SK Telecom but also by KT and LG U+ and release a version
for iOS devices by the first half of this year.
