SK Planet Expands the Reach of T Academy Training

-  Produced 13 T Academy Certified Trainers after assessing candidates who completed Train the Trainer Courses, and jointly
held certificate award ceremony with local partnering agencies at Busan, Chungnam and Jeonju

training by delivering T Academy’s curriculum in non-Seoul regions  


Seoul, Korea, August 13, 2012 — SK Planet today announced that T Academy, Korea’s leading learning institute of mobile
technologies produced T Academy Certified Trainers to increase the accessibility of mobile training nationwide.  
 
T Academy certified 13 trainers specializing in Android/iPhone app development and service UX/UI* planning after assessing
candidates who completed its Train the Trainer Courses. Certification ceremony was jointly held with T Academy’s local
partnering agencies** on August 10.

The certified trainers who are college professors, CEOs of venture capital firms and freelancers will share latest developments
of mobile technologies and teaching skills, teach T Academy curriculum at courses organized by local partnering agencies, and
deliver lectures at colleges utilizing T Academy’s curriculum and course materials.     
 
Meanwhile, T Academy launched Train the Trainer Program in August 2011 to prepare mobile professionals to teach programs
for Android/iPhone app development and service UX/UI planning, and so far trained 43 skilled trainers.
 
“T Academy Certified Trainers will expand the reach of T Academy’s effective curriculum and learning materials to students and
developers living in non-Seoul regions,” said Kim Young-chul, SK Planet’s Head of Open Collaboration Promote Center. “We will
continue to increase learning opportunities, currently concentrated in the city of Seoul, for those living elsewhere so that many
people can benefit from them.”
