Seoul, Korea, September 17, 2012 — SK Planet today announced that T Store’s cumulative downloads hit 1 billion yesterday,
three years after launch in September 9, 2009 as Korea’s first open market for mobile content.

T Store has grown into a leading mobile content marketplace that provides over 350,000 content offerings in App, Games, VOD,
E-book, Music, Shopping Coupon and other categories to 16.7 million users, whose cumulative transaction volume now reaches
KRW 197 billion.

In June 2010, just nine months after release, T Store’s cumulative downloads surpassed 10 million and in less than two years
after opening, the number jumped to 300 million. Just a year later, T Store crossed another milestone of 1 billion cumulative
downloads.

SK Planet said that the remarkable growth and success of T Store has been driven by its focus on fostering Korea’s mobile
ecosystem under the values of openness and co-existence.

Reliable content marketplace that offers diverse payment options and security measures
T Store offers a wide array of content for smart devices, not only in the form app but also under the categories of Games, E-book,
VOD, Music, Shopping Coupon and more. And increase in large screen smartphone penetration is rapidly driving up the usage
rate of multimedia content such as e-book and VOD.

T Store added e-book category in November 2010, which now has over 196,000 published books and where customers
download more than 1.05 million books per month. Compared to figures from December 2011, the number of registered books
and monthly downloads grew by 160% and 180% respectively, bringing up cumulative downloads to 10 million. VOD is also one
of the fastest growing categories, with its video offerings posting 160% growth and monthly downloads enjoying 320% jump
from December 2011.

Moreover, T Store has introduced diverse payment options (credit card, direct carrier billing, dotori, OK Cashbag, bookstore
gift card, gift certificate) as well as new security measures. For the first time in Korea, T Store adopted a new authentication
process that requires users to enter an authorization code for all in-app purchasing, along with Kids-Lock feature, making
content purchasing safer and more reliable.

Grew into Asia’s largest app store that transcends operator network and national borders
T Store opened its services to all users of smart devices, irrespective of their wireless carrier, to make the service available to
not only SK Telecom subscribers but also to KT and LG U+ customers. As of September 2012, T Store attracted some 2.3 million
KT and LG U+ subscribers to its service.
Smartphone models with T Store application now stands at 130, a number that includes nearly every Android smartphones
released in Korea. SK Planet has further increased the availability of T Store to handsets released overseas in June to increase
the global reach of its free apps and content.

Commitment to mutual growth based on the policy of openness and co-existence
SK Planet has created a developer-friendly environment where developers can easily and conveniently develop, register and
distribute content on T Store. From early on, T Store has offered content verification and registration for free, while establishing
a speedy and transparent payment system under which content sales revenue is paid out to its current 32,000 registered
developers within the end of the next calendar month from the date of purchase.
Moreover, SK Planet is providing assistance to individual developers as well as smaller-sized development companies to help
them develop quality content that have global appeal. In last July, T Store distributed 300 copies of 3D engine developed by
3D Matrix free of charge to provide 3D game development tools, while giving developers access to development funding and
overseas publishing assistance.
In addition, developer conference is held on a regular basis with an aim to produce better support for developers, along with
monthly training programs covering practical business and technology commercialization know-how.
The company also aids overseas developer’s entry into Korean market. In order to give non-Korean developers equal access to
T Store and all the features it offers including SDK, freemium and ARM, T Store provides English version of developer website,
tech support and question-and-answer service, with plans to add Chinese and Japanese language support in the near future.

“T Store, used by 16.7 million customers, has been committed to fostering a strong mobile ecosystem at home and abroad,
based on its policy of openness and co-existence,” said Park Jung-min, SK Planet’s Head of T Store Business Division. “We
will continue to make daring and ceaseless efforts to grow T Store into a global content distribution hub that attracts users from
all over the world.”
