Seoul, Korea, April 9, 2013—SK Planet today announced that the company will hold the 2013 SK Planet X Awards,
as part of its efforts to foster a strong and mutually-beneficially ecosystem and receive service proposals from April 9 to 30.

Winning teams will be determined based on their service proposals using SK Planet’s open platform named Planet X.
A three-tier selection process will name six best-performing teams at the end of September.
The grand prize winner will receive a cash prize of KRW 30 million with two runner-ups each winning KRW 15 million.
Three teams taking third place will each be awarded with KRW 5 million. Any corporate or individual developer is eligible

Planet X refers to an open platform that offers major service features and functionalities of eight services of T Map, T Cloud,
hoppin, T Ad, 11 St, MelOn, Cyworld and NateOn in the form of open API (Application Program Interface) to outside developers.

Meanwhile, SK Planet today holds a briefing session on 2013 Planet X Awards at Supex Hall, SK T-Tower. The session will
also feature an award ceremony to recognize the six winning teams of the previous competition as well as an introduction of
the new functions of Planet X including live commenting plugin as well as T Map.
