T Store Registered Users Top 20 Million

-  In just 3 years and 7 months after launch, T Store has surpassed 20 million users, 450,000 contents,
    with its cumulative transaction volume exceeding KRW 300 billion

-  Multimedia contents such as VOD, e-book and webtoon as well as real life products show strong growth,
    with T Store customers purchasing an average of 5.3 contents per month

Seoul, Korea, April 18, 2013—SK Planet today announced that its mobile content marketplace, T Store has topped
20 million registered users.
 
T Store, which opened its services in September 2009, surpassed 10 million users in October 2011 and continued
its growth momentum to cross another milestone of 20 million in just a year and a half later, solidifying its position as
a leading marketplace for Korean mobile content.
 
Contents registered on T Store amounts to 450,000, encompassing app, games, VOD, e-book, music, webtoon,
shopping/coupon and more, with T Store customers purchasing an average of 5.3 contents per month.  
 
Categories that enjoy strong customer support are not confined to app and games. Demand for multimedia content
such as e-book, movie, broadcasts and webtoon is showing impressive growth. In March, customers downloaded
2.2 million e-books and 2.8 million videos, posting 750% and 300% year-on-year growth respectively.
 
Another category that posted strong growth is shopping/coupon that sells real life products in the form of coupons
and vouchers that can be redeemed in-store. Currently, nearly 5,000 products in café, dining, fashion, beauty, digital
electronics, leisure and lifestyle are sold through T Store. Compared to the figures from March 2012, the number of items
sold per month jumped by a whopping 500%.
 
In line with its policy of openness and sharing, SK Planet made the service available to not only SK Telecom subscribers
but also to KT and LG U+ Android smartphone users. As of April 2013, KT and LG U+ network subscribers using T Store
reached 3.3 million, with Android-based smartphone and tablet PC models having access to T Store numbering 160.
 
Meanwhile, to celebrate the 20 million user milestone, T Store will hold a giveaway event from April 18 to 27. Every time
a customer clicks on the ‘Lucky Ticket’ that randomly appears on T Store, the participating customer will earn T Store Cash
and get a chance to win Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Smart Beam, KRW 30,000 in T Store cash, VOD unlimited access plan,
