Seoul, Korea, May 30, 2013—SK Planet announced plans to dramatically increase the number of online and mobile merchants
accepting PayPin payments to 100,000.

PayPin developed by SK Planet is a super simple payment service. Once a user registers his various payment means, such
as credit cards and smart phones, on the PayPin app, he can then use the app to pay without having to key in information like
the credit card number for each transaction. The user can also set his favorite credit card as his preferred payment means to
avoid the hassle of choosing a card each time he has to pay. PayPin is extremely easy to use and very well optimized to the
mobile transactions.

SK Planet announced today that PayPin has entered into partnership with 11 St, the number one mobile shopping mall in Korea
as well as large local payment gateways such as KG Inicis, LG U+ and KCP. The plan is to gradually increase the number
of merchants offering the PayPin option to 100,000 starting from June this year.

Among the merchants newly supporting PayPin is Timon which began to do so on May 29. Other merchants lined up for
onboarding include large local social commerce providers such as Wemakepric.com. Such expansion is expected to deliver
greater convenience to consumers in their 20s and 30s who prefer mobile shopping.

Launched in May last year, PayPin appealed to consumers as a quick and simple mobile payment method and achieved
a payment volume of over KRW 20 billion during the past one year. PayPin has expanded the range of cards it takes, which
now includes Shinhan, Hana SK and BC. PayPin is increasingly available as a payment option in 11 St and other shopping
malls of varying sizes, and the average rate of membership growth during the past three months was 25%.

Alliance with the large local payment gateways has added fuel to this growth, which may soon reach 100,000 merchants. This
means that PayPin will eventually cover an e-commerce market with a size of KRW 20 trillion per annum, the largest coverage
amongst competing easy payment services.

“PayPin has solved several pain points consumers experienced when trying to pay in the course of m-commerce transactions.
With the hassle gone, we have established ourselves as number one in the market within just a year’s time,” Lee Jae-hwan, Vice
President and Head of Platform Business Division of SK Planet. “We will continue to form new partnerships to expand our
service coverage not only in e-commerce and m-commerce markets but also in offline payment markets.”

To celebrate the launch of Paypin in Timon, all customers who pay above KRW 3,000 using PayPin will be given 2,500 Timon
loyalty points. This special offer is available until June 12. The PayPin app can be downloaded from T Store, Google Play and
Apple App Store regardless of the user’s MNO or device.
