In Three Years after Launch Smart Wallet Subscribers Top 10 Million

Seoul, Korea, June 3, 2013—SK Planet today announced that its mobile wallet service Smart Wallet has crossed the milestone
of 10 million subscribers in three years after launch.

SK Planet’s Smart Wallet is indisputably the largest mobile wallet service in Korea that supports the issuance and management
of membership cards and various mobile payment methods such as coupons, gifticons, credit cards and vouchers. 

Since opening its services in June 2010, Smart Wallet has continued its strong growth momentum, with subscribers hitting
1 million in just nine months after launch, 5 million in June 2012, and 10 million in merely three years after release, setting
an unprecedented milestone in the mobile wallet industry.

Smart Wallet is also increasing its potential as a marketing platform. Contact point between businesses and customers
is growing at a rapid pace, as cards issued by Smart Wallet numbers over 30 million after surpassing 20 million at the
year’s start.

to its partners.

Smart Wallet puts customers at the center of its business strategy. By allowing users to transfer their daily membership
activities onto the mobile device, it gives users convenient access to services such as membership subscription, points
management and coupon redemption. Moreover, Smart Wallet has established an unparalleled line-up of membership
programs with a great focus on customer convenience.

Smart Wallet is partner to over 220 brands including OK Cashbag, SPC Happy Point, CJ ONE, Lotte Members, GS&POINT,
Korean Air Skypass, Asiana Airlines, Amorepacific Beauty Point, Kyobo, MegaBox, LG Electronics, Seoul Arts Center and
Hyundai Department Store, offering customers access to a complete line-up of membership programs that cover shopping,

Smart Wallet first completed an open business structure that is easily accessible not only by nation-wide business
operators but also by micro-enterprises, small and medium coupon issuers and social commerce service providers
by offering convenient sign-up process, stronger authentication as well as simplified registration.

Smart Wallet also maximized customer recruitment and revenue growth by giving partners access to effective mobile
marketing tools—e.g. real-time notification, targeted coupon offers, tie-in promotions—that allows interactive communication
with a subscriber base that exceeds 10 million. Early this year, Smart Wallet opened Marketing Plus
