Seoul, Korea, November 11, 2013—SK Planet today released the T Map ad API to allow location-based
service providers working off of T Map to better generate advertising revenues from Korea’s largest mobile
GPS navigation service.  

Earlier in late 2012, SK Planet launched Korea’s first open platform, Planet X Developer Center
(http://developers.skplanetx.com), and disclosed another set of APIs for developers to utilize
T Map’s location-based information platform.

The latest ad API release will ensure greater opportunities for LBS providers to increase their bottom
line as the market grows. They can do so while bypassing the development and advertising validation
that used to be necessary for embedding mobile ad in their service. Mobile ad revenues may be generated
simply by adding to their services the T Map ad API, which is offered as a part of T Map SDK.     

T Map ad APIs are based on the ArounDers platform. An SK Planet venture, ArounDers operates
an ad broker platform optimized for location-based delivery of ads and coupons. Franchises with
offline outlets and social commerce players have responded positively to ArounDers as the benefit is
quite substantial relative to the low advertising cost.

The LBS providers no longer have to invest in marketing activities targeting advertisers or in additional
development to generate extra ad revenues. Moreover, Planet X Developers supplies statistics on clicks
and views as well as settles monthly advertising revenues thus delivering greater convenience for developers.

golf and bicycling), public transit information, Blackbox, pickat and Safe Taxis as well as other services
designed to make life easier.
