SK Planet Celebrated Styletag Launch in New York

- Attended by fifty VIPs -- power bloggers and fashion & entertainment celebrities, including Nicole Richie

Seoul, Korea, December 8, 2013SK Planet hosted the Styletag launch event at Henri Bendel on Fifth Avenue,
New York on December 6 (NY time).

Participants in the celebration included Jinwoo So, CEO of SK Planet and influential names in the American
fashion industry. A total of fifty VIP guests attended, demonstrating their interest in the new fashion service.
The crowd consisted of power fashion bloggers, celebrities like Nicole Richie, designers, models and
journalists from fashion magazines and representatives from design schools.

Kah Jong-hyun, Senior Vice President of SK Planet’s Core Platform Management Division said: “We will
create the future of the new fashion industry through partnerships with global designer houses, building
on our state-of-the-art mobile commerce technologies.” With great confidence he emphasized: “Styletag
moves with the latest trends in the global fashion market. Information is shared amongst users real-time
and directly lead to purchases in this unique fashion service.”

Earlier in 2012 the beta version of the app was launched in the major fashion markets of US and Canada
with one million downloads in total. The official version was globally released about a month ago on
November 14, and it is now available at T Store, Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Lindsey Calla, the curator for Styletag described the app as “the outcome of co-work amongst influential
people in the fashion industry,” which “delivers the diversity of fashion across the globe into one’s hands.”
Lindsey Calla is the creator of the popular fashion blog www.saucyglossie.com and a sought-after style
icon who collaborates with more than 50 fashion media companies in US, Europe and Japan.

SK Planet envisions Styletag as a service platform for supporting competitive Korean SOHO fashion
companies and young designers to venture into the global market. It also sees Styletag as a developing
ground for a convergence offering based on K-fashion, and as such a successful example of the creative
economy at play.

Styletag is a service that curates photos and video contents posted by fashion designers both local and
international, magazines, power bloggers and other fashionistas. It is also a social service which allows
users to tag goods and items with keywords that sum up their preferences and/or interests, and to share
this information with friends.

The search for the right look is almost effortless. Each week fashion experts select the latest trend words
which are displayed in one screen. Tag Cloud Search allows the user to simply tap the keyword of interest to
get a varied but relevant set of recommendations on items that can help achieve that look. If something really
catches the eye then the user may move right on to the next page where she can make a purchase.
