Seoul, Korea, February 28, 2014—SK Planet today announced that its T Map, Korea’s largest mobile navigation
platform will start to supply TPEG traffic information to DTS (DMB TPEG Service) on March 1. DTS is a traffic information
provider for MBC, KBS, SBS, as well as YTN. Under the partnership, SK Planet will be providing real-time traffic data to
all four DMB-based traffic services in Korea.

TPEG stands for the format standardized by the Transport Protocol Experts Group and is a new mode of delivering
live traffic information to vehicle navigation systems via digital broadcast formats. In Korea, service providers include
MBC, KBS, YTN and SBS.

TPEG provides drivers with access to real-time information about changing traffic and road conditions, allowing them
to make earlier and better decisions on re-routing options.

As T Map expands its traffic services, motorists with TPEG-equipped in-vehicle navigation systems will also be enjoying
speedy and accurate route guidance service along with smartphone users.

“We are pleased to expand the delivery of T Map traffic information. The expansion was possible as T Map received
favorable reviews for speedy and reliable route guidance service from the users,” said Lee Hae-yeol,
Vice President of SK Planet. “We will continue to evolve the service into a smart travel companion that touches
individual lives in a more profound way.”
