Seoul, Korea, November 6, 2014—SK Planet today announced a strategic marketing partnership with Eland
Retail (CEO: Kim Yeon-bae http://www.elandretail.com) in the area of Online-to-Offline (O2O) commerce.
The agreement signing ceremony was held today at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry located
in Namdaemun-ro, Seoul.

The partnership will allow the two companies to create synergies by combining Eland Retail’s nationwide distribution
network that includes department stores and outlet malls with SK Planet’s O2O commerce solution built on latest
technologies such as BLE and geo-fencing.

Online-to-Offline (O2O) services are recently making their appearance in offline distribution channels such as
department stores and large discount stores. Against this backdrop, the partnership will bring the best of both
companies as it allows Eland Retail to form smart shopping zones and SK Planet to expand the footprint and
outreach of its O2O commerce brand Syrup.

Eland Retail plans to implement Syrup’s smart shopping solution in NC Cube Canal Walk branch (Songdo, Incheon)
and New Core Outlet Gangnam branch this month before expanding it to its entire 52 branches next year.
